Not good.@DobieLover how goes the pond and filter build?
When I finally hooked up and tested the air, I got a nice flow to the waterfall filter but nothing out of the bottom filter diffuser lid. I left it all for a week and when I started working again I noticed the pond level had dropped significantly.
I have to pump out the pond and open up the bottom filter.
I suppose there is a chance I missed gluing a fitting in the air line and that's why I didn't get air. But why the leak? There is a check valve in the air line to stop water going back down the airline.
Maybe a chunk of something was caught in the pipe and when I turned on the air it got rammed into the check valve and blocked the air flow and partially stuck the valve open.
But in order to leak out of the air line, I have a bad fitting buried somewhere under ground. If the check valve functions correctly, it should be a moot point. I won't know until I get in there.
That was going to be today but I'm in the ER with DH. The Hearth called EMS to take him in this morning and THEN called me. He was coughing hard again. Enough to where they found some vomit in his bed. His blood pressure is up again.
I asked why they didn't call me first so I could take him in and was told I was "just" the emergency contact but because he was taken by EMS they'll see him right away and he won't have to wait.
Well, here we are still waiting in the waiting room.
