We got about 4" last night, and more is coming down. It's the fine powdery stuff that will drift a lot in the wind we have. We'll stay home and watch college football. Or surf BYC. Or do sudoku puzzles.

over the state.

Got the rest of the tractor thrower install done...drive belt, tire chains, and counter weights.
Chains can be a real PITA, but I remembered a trick(reminded last week while watching Ice Road Truckers ) so they went on lickity split.
So it's ready to go...hoping to all dieties the snow stops by morning and thrower preforms well.

Still having streaks of white outs going on.

I had to block off the south opening in the coop. Snow was blowing in, because the wind was just the right direction. I think I'll find some more furnace filter material to use. Right now I have shower curtain plastic stapled up. Really cut the wind that was coming through, but I don't want to lose that much ventilation.

Just shoveled the days estimated 6-8" off the coop path and porch.
