BYC Café

Phew, horse chores are done. It was good to see them as I spent 4 days away with my SIL and we went to Kearney to watch DS$ wrestle. It was a wonderful trip! DH freaked out about the storm and the cold that was coming in so he decided not to go... but it does make traveling easier... DS$ wrestled very well and now he has a decision to make. I told him to get an outside opinion from his Club Coach, a former D1 coach and wrestler.
We shall see but anyway you look at it, he is enjoying the new environment!
DL, I am glad Skittles is healing well. I was wondering about you MI Cafe regulars and hoping that no one got slammed with the biggie. Aart, you seem to have the most and I am sorry the thrower is having issues with it. We have a week of beautiful weather ahead.
Sally, we are going to another chunk of the family's house and everyone is assigned something to bring. We are bringing pies and DS@ is bringing rolls. DS$ is eating for free and only healthy fats, meat, and veggies....yeah, right.
Enjoy the day!

Yes, I got about 18-20". Found a good plow guy recommended by a very picky buddy with a very long driveway, he just left and it's all cleaned up!!
He had a great split plow rig, it was fascinating to watch it happen....
...and a HUGE relief.

Good morning Cafe and thanks for all the coffee!

We only got a dusting of snow but just south of Buffalo got clobbered with truly unimaginable amounts.
77".
I just can't wrap my head around that. How do you even begin to deal with that even with routine trips to remove it from your roof, walkways and driveway. Where do you put it all??

IKR?!!!!
Made me stop whining, or at least reduced it, about my own dilemma.

Good afternoon folks! Winter has FINALLY arrived in Nova Scotia - had to scrape my windshield this morning for the first time this season.

My stitches come out this afternoon and I'm looking forward to being able to wear mitts again without the worry that I'll be pulling on the stitches.
