What exactly does this mean?
You mentioned your Paleo diet several times already, interesting.
Do you have a trusted link for me to further investigate?
It's what our ancestors ate 40,000 years ago. Meat (protein), fruits, nuts. No legumes, few vegetables, no potatoes although, some paleoist, include non-white potatoes.

I went from a Paleo diet to a Carnivore diet after my myocardial infraction. Beef, Bacon, Butter....also poultry, fish and shellfish. Cut out all sugar and carbohydrates. I still have one weakness for sugar....bananas! :lau

I have a book that I like to reference. The Paleo Solution: The Original Human Diet by Robb Wolf. He writes well. The material is presented with lots humor and it keeps you engaged.
It's basically pre-agricultural revolution eating aka, hunter/gatherer: no grains, no dairy (humans are the only mammal that continue to consume dairy past infancy), no processed foods/sugars. It's actually an entire lifestyle and mindset.
I'm not a purist. I still indulge is frozen custard or yogurt or ice cream and will have naughty deserts today at my sisters. But I eat 95% Paleo.
The recipe I will be making is this. It's delicious!! :drool

The book that I read does not suggest few veggies. On the contrary, the vast bulk of my diet is veggies. And yes, I forgot to mention the 'no legumes' part of the diet. They have anti-nutrients for self defense that lead to leaky gut.
I first started reading the book I referenced out loud with DH. I was about half way through when I looked up at him and said "I'm doing this!".
He then said "Me too!".
I said "Then you know you won't be eating peanut butter and ice cream anymore, right?"
He got bug eyed and said "Then what will I eat??!!"

Yeah, I cheated too! but that's what got me into trouble with my cholesterol. Too much sugar and carbohydrates, mainly chocolate...M&M's, I'd eat about a pound every single night while I was working. :oops:
I quit smoking...that was easy, cutting out sugar and carb's is just too hard to do (sugar is more addictive than nicotine) but if I want to live awhile longer I have to cut out sugar and the carbs.
You have probably also heard or read that plants are trying to kill us 🤣 they produce so many different toxins to escape being eaten and have evolved some pretty toxic properties through the millenia.

I've basically gone Beef, Bacon & Butter! Straight carnivore diet.
