Tomorrow i go to Danville for the last ceramic class until the new year. Hoping to buy a couple of IBC totes as well. To make into hay feeders. And i need to pick up more presents for hubby.

I swear I'll stop bombarding the thread with Piper pictures and videos but I finally got one that shows how Bella and Piper play without Piper zooming all over the rooms.

AND I kept her with me from after 5:00 am breakfast until 11:00 when she FINALLY went pee on the 5th trip out. Then caught and corrected her from pooping on the floor and got her outside. HUGE party and praise while she pottied outside. I managed to get two more catches and corrections with two more successful potty trips outside. Each one is awesome for her learning. Her reward when she potties outside is playtime with big sis.

This is the the pink fuzzy coat I got for a dollar.

I got this for $2 and gutted it for the filler.

Sewed the neck closed and sewed an arc across the chest and stuffed it with the filler.

Then put two 1" thick x 16" round chair pads into a waterproof zippered pillow case and sewed it into the body and sewed the arms to the bed. She loves it! She kept leaning down over the edge and taking a few pieces of food out of her bowl then backing up and laying down to eat them in her bed.

I can unzip it from the bottom to remove the chair pads and wash it when it needs it.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.
GREAT night last night! Only whining for a couple of minutes with a correction every time until she understood she had to be quiet and "go to bed" in there. She woke up twice in the night and whined so those were treated with a quick trip outside with the "potty" command that resulted in a pee the first time and a pee and a poop the second time. Right back to sleep in her crate without issue coming back in. I have her crate wrapped in a double layer of blanket sitting on a potty pad on the end of Bella's bed.
And this morning after a romp session with big sis, I put her in the play pen while I took care of chores and she pooped in her potty tote. Twice. Well, she sure was full of shi...

Good morning Cafe! Thanks for the coffee DL!

Glad things are going well with the pup! I am taking ‘Salt’ out twice during the night too and it’s working well. Hoping to cut it down to once I night in a couple weeks.

The day is grey and overcast here. Everything is melting outside. Tomorrow is the local annual Christmas Bird Count - something to look forward to!

We have a storm coming today. 6" - 13" with a glazing of frozen rain. I've got the shovel under the roof of the seasonal room addition and fully loaded firewood racks.
Piper has her well puppy vet visit tomorrow morning at 10:30. I don't know if I'll be able to make it. The storm is supposed to start around 10 this morning and last until 7 pm tomorrow. It's a wait and see day.
I plan to make the first batch of raw puppy food today, shovel several times and just putter. Oh. And set up the mouse traps in the run. Tis the season.

The Christmas Bird Count is an annual event where people from all over the world spend a day outside counting wild birds - started by the Audubon Society back in 1901! I bet there is one going on near you this week or next. It's a lot of fun and the people who come out to help are usually super pleasant to spend the time with.

And boo about the storm. Hopefully it's a bust and you can get your pup to the vet for her appointment.

Good morning. Very cold and breezy, 10F. One cat sitting by the wood stove wishing it would magically come on and the other one went outside.
I have to take a friend to a doc appt today but that is better than the ER visit she was thinking of yesterday, and I did not get what I had planned to do done in the hurry up and wait to see pattern, so it will get done sometime. Who wants to clean a fridge anyway!
