I bought Sunny a new jacket. Unlike the sweater she had, i expect it will block wind. She hates wearing them though.

Piper's still growing. I'll get her a real winter coat when she's done.
I have to pull the sweater on over my hand, grab hold of her whole head to keep her from biting the sweater while I pull it down over her and pull her legs through.

We are all set for the storm

We aren't getting enough eggs for me to take enough for a frittata yet. Soon, though.

I've been using my glassed eggs to make them. I eat the fresh ones scrambled. I have just enough girls laying to fulfill my needs. Even enough that I will give my hairdresser a dozen along with a fat tip for her Christmas bonus.

Here it comes!
Snowing like mad outside, they seem to change the estimated amounts hourly.
Winds aren't supposed to start up until midnight, so we shall see.
No power means no computer/router.

Yup, snowing here now too. No wind to speak of yet. It's just below freezing, so it's wet, creaky snow. It'll pack down to ice.

DH put about 2 days' worth of wood up on the porch.

We got about 2-3" of snow that I've cleared off the driveway and it's supposed to rain/sleet overnight and approach 50 tomorrow when the wind kicks up. The temps will start to plummet Friday afternoon and turn the rain to snow for a short while.

Yep, I've got my Christmas decorations up too. Wouldn't want to dampen the festive spirit and all that.

One year my uncle wrote "BAH HUMBUG!" on his window with that spray snow stuff.

I like the getting together with friends and family part.
I travel through Bristol (UK) city centre most days and it's insane. People buying crap by the shedload that the recipient probably won't want.
We tried food only as gifts last year in an attempt to reduce the waste but some people just bought way too much.
This year the vote was for do what you want.
