Calm outside and cold today again. Brighter than yesterday thankfully. The Christmas decorations were all put away yesterday and now the sitting room feels like it has a lot more space in it!

Salt is starting to regularly ask to go out to pee at the door when she needs to, which is great progress.

Piper spends all her time out of the pen/crate either sleeping on/next to me or playing with big sis and tearing around the house. This morning while I got ready for work I placed her Porta-Potty next to her pen. I checked on her every couple of minutes and found that she had used her Porta-Potty on her own. Baby steps.

Same here. The rainfall I woke to at 4am lulled me back to sleep.
Was kind of nice, along with the not-frigid temps.

Coop bedding is starting to dry out from the thaw.
Feed and water consumption has escalated significantly.
Only one hen back in lay so far.

Shut the heat off with a fire after we got back home.
I got 8 eggs today nice surprise getting them after a month of 1 and 2.
