I finally made the lid for Piper's pen. I cut grooves centered on the bottoms of the 2x3s then screwed them together and screwed a 2x3 so that the gap that she got her leg caught in is blocked. The board acts as a stop for the gate.

I got lucky that the Porta-Potty fits through the gate so I should be able to just reach in to clean and change the pad.

Piper has shown me already that she's not a fan of loud noises. It certainly isn't at a phobia type level but it makes her very concerned. Needless to say she did not like me driving the screws in with the power driver or slamming the staples in with the pneumatic stapler. After she ran into the bedroom four different times and came back out on her own I decided to just lock her in her bed time crate with Bella in the room until I was finished building and cleaning up.
Afterwards she decided she wanted to go get some comfort from big sis! Bella kept licking her.

We have a pneumatic stapler love it to no end. Used it on the cat boxes I recovered.

Well, I have been exposed to Covid. A No Good Deed Goes Unpunished thing...
something about a 51yo friend of mine whos daughter (11yo) gave her a surprise party at a roller-skating rink...lol! We truly did surprise the jump out of her so it was worth it. I'll let you know if I am just flying over Covidia or maybe landing to vacation for a bit. I probably just came back from there but my passport never got stamped.
We have snow coming in but they are not talking amounts yet, just wind, breezes, flowing air, whatever.
