Just about to click the "place order" button on chicks from Mt. Healthy. Anyone here dealt with them before? The reviews look very positive. They're in Cincinnati, so the trip wouldn't be too long to where I am in Michigan.

I haven't heard from my neighbor, so I'm going to just do it.

I need to get chicks this year as well but I am not in the mood just yet. I think it was 14 F out there this am.

They're selling out of chicks already for certain dates.

I can't wait for Piper to get big enough to make it through the night without needing to pee. Those nights I thought she had, she had peed on the towel I had in there with her. She sleeps in an empty crate now.

Snowing here.
Since the winter has been so mild there are big 'winter weather warnings' all over.
...for 3-6" over 15 hours. SMH.
Guess people need to be reminded to take it slow on ice and snow.

A few fluffy inches was easy to shovel from coop path and run.
Don't think I'll have any trouble getting out of the driveway to get haircut and library run done.

They order me bunches so I usually pick up a stack, but there's a gap in reservations right now so I'll have to make my own picks today.
