It was starting to snow when I went out for lockup.

I shoveled my way out to lock up....3-4" of very wet snow.
The roads must be nasty....cars are creeping along my road.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

We were supposed to get 4-10". Like @aart, we only have about 1.5" of extremely heavy snow. It started out "normal" but the temp rose during the night so it's super densely packed now. I'm hoping for a melt off so I don't have to push it around.

George, I hope you are feeling much better this morning.

Good morning Cafe! Thanks for the coffee DL! Sounds like you got the good ol' PNW concrete snow. I hope it melts quickly for you.

It's a quiet Saturday morning here. Going to start a few more seeds (tomatoes, peppers, etc.) and then do a bit of work on a research paper I've been working on. Just a cold grey day.

We got 2-3 inches of puffy snow. The temp dipped down to 28, so that helped, I'm sure. Right now it is bright and sunny. I broomed off the run to let in the light.

George, I hope you are feeling better!

The 3-4" of very wet snow I shoveled off the coop path last night, has settled into 2" of frozen pack. Much lighter to toss off the rest of the path and part of the run.
With temps from 30-40's the next couple days should take care of it. Rain on Monday should finish it off. Really glad I won't need to try and clear the driveway.

When I went out to open up the coop, the snow was light and fluffy. Now, 2 hours later, it's had some sun on it, and it's settled in the wet, heavy stuff.

It was interesting on our morning walk. Where sun had hit the trees, the breeze made the snow fall off in plops. Where the trees were still in the shade, the snow blew off in a cloud.

Maggie's breeder has a retired female available for adoption. I have to admit that I felt a twinge of interest.
