It's really irritating when the rain washes the topsoil away.We got about 4" of rain. There are gullies in the driveway, and part of the (county) road might wash out; we'll see when the water goes down.
They canceled the storm/tornado warnings, thank goodness. We did lose power for about two hours, but that's no biggie.
The topography of my downhill garden is different now. I think most of the garlic and multiplier onions are still there. I'll go out tomorrow when it's dried out a bit.
Some of the really good compost I put on last fall has been washed away. But I have the chicken run and a compost bin to dig out, so I can replace most of it.
