Good afternoon Cafe up at the crack of dawn off to the hospital.
Then I was taken to breakfast by my Love. I am still cancer free.
DL sorry of the loss.
I was having to change Doctors faster than socks for a couple years here.

Yesterday I watched Olivia and Amelia (the buff EE in front of Olivia above) scratching around on the far side of the pen enjoying the day.
This morning Olivia was standing on one of her feet when I went out to feed them then slowly lowered herself to the ground. I went over and stroked her back and she allowed this then stood up and was mildly open mouthed breathing. I left her thinking "I'll have to get a better look at her tonight".
When I walked out the door 30 minutes later to go to work, she was laying dead in front of the run with Annie standing near her. She had a great day yesterday and didn't seem to have suffered. She would have been 5 on the 29th. She was one of the originals and was a very sweet bird.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

Last night was the first night without a fire in the stove since the heating season began. I'm not making one this morning either. It's 48 out heading to about 70 today. It was night to hear the frogs in the pond last night.

Rumbling out there, "strong storms with tornado possibilities".
Gonna be an anxious day...at least if the power goes out, I won't freeze to death with high near 70.

Weather alarm sounded on our phones about 5:45 this morning. Jumped up and made coffee then turned on local tv station, sure enough, tornado warning for us. Sat in safe space with coffee for about 10 minutes until the line passed us. After being without power for 46 1/2 hours this weekend, I am thankful the risk is past.

Yes they are! THIS GIRL DOES NOT DO TORNADOES! So, I can share my 8 F, windy, and just shy of a foot of new snow stories. Thank goodness my friend from the lower ranch called and would like to do some shopping today. The car will be out of the way for DH when he plows the driveway.

There has been wave after wave of thunder, lightning, wind, deluges of rain, and even some hail to start off the show. Had a few power blips, one that shut down the tv and microwave tho the lights didn't even flicker, but stayed on.
Chicken run flooded but garage is dry.
Tornado watch in effect here until 4.
