I must admit I've found peoples and governments reaction to Covid rather interesting. We are in general used to having a relatively risk free existance compared to when there were still large predators about.
Some say that the long term effects of lockdown style approach to Covid the advice to keep at home and/or away from other people has reduced our ability to deal well with many of the other bugs that limited exposure to has in the past helped us to build up a natural resistance.
I read one study/report that this has effected the more lederly in particular. I know people who haven't left their homes for a couple of years now.

Common sense and a knowledge of basic animal husbandry go a long way.
 
I smacked the top of my thumb nail with a rotating speed bore bit when it broke out of the side of a 2x3. I was feeling sorry for myself until I remembered seeing this.
