Piper had a blast on today's run. She discovered the fun of digging for the first time today:

She also walked out into the creek with Bella. The water came half way up her legs. Brave girl!

She had a major case of the zoomies out in the middle of the field, literally zooming around in huge circles.

And of course snacked on many trout lilies to keep her energy up.

She is now passed out on the couch next to big brother and I hope she stays in this position for a few hours so I can get some work done outside!

Since it's so nice a warm today
It peaked at 90 yesterday and it's at 84 so far today. Hence the pond work.

I also pressure washed the back of the house and the deck. Then hauled the area rugs out and pressure washed them. Man were they filthy!

Yes, anytime you travel it is unfortunately. Because of covid, it's my only chance to present my PhD work at a conference (which is something expected of you as a graduate student) - and it's not hybrid so there was no option to present online. Hence the reason that I'm using the trip as an opportunity to visit my sister (as I have to go through London to get to O Grove - just two flights as I spent the money to go direct instead of hopping all over the place) incase I don't see her for several more years. Likely I won't leave the country again for quite a while as I have a potential job offer for the fall that involves teaching university classes year round as a full time position in British Columbia back where my parents are. 🙂 I'll actually be quite happy to settle down in a place for a while.
I hope you and your sister enjoy your visit.
