Good morning Cafe. Thanks for the coffee Orca but it was stale by the time I got to the pot so I made a fresh pot.

Got lots done yesterday including spending a couple hours with DH. He continues to improve. No more aggression and they found a radio that they leave on for him during the day. He really enjoys that. I told them how I used to use music to change the mood and they listened! He is laughing and dancing with the staff when they spend time with him. It's a big relief but I know that when he makes his final move to long term skilled nursing he's going to slip again.

Dani would never sleep in a bed. The Princess probably bought her a dozen looking for one she liked. Maggie liked her beds - two she destroyed, but the third was indestructible.

He was in the shade with me.

The third egg did not hatch. So she's working on raising the two she's got.

And I've got another broody locked up in the clink.

Good afternoon! Checked on the horses and the gardens. DH and I constructed a "Don't let the senile , blind, hard of hearing granddog wander off " fence and then we hung the nest boxes that I finally picked up from where the new hens came from and THEY ARE HAPPY TO HAVE THEM BACK! We were hanging on to the boxes trying to figure out where they should go and the chickens were jumping in them. Then we hung proper roosts. Now we are hiding from the sun as well because it is CLEAR SKIES for miles! The cats are unamused with the no-warning invasion of the dogs but they will just have to deal.
More coffee is brewed!

Good hot coffee is welcome, I take mine with half n half.
