Yes, this was our only functioning bathroom for 7 years.

After the gut and some reframing of the wall.

Lots of the normal bumps in the road along the way. I still have to get up in the attic to move the vent pipe. I HATE attic work.

Hi everyone, I’m Alyssa!

I’m currently super excited because my quail have finally figured out the nesting box is for nesting in and not dust bathing. All three of my active layers have begun laying in the nesting box instead of everywhere on the floor and in their dust bath.

They have their own huge dust bath but still chose to dust bathe in the wood shavings in their nesting box for some odd reason.

Hi Alyssa! Nice to see you here at the Cafe :frow

Quail are so cute and prolific, we plan to keep some, when we finally will be able to reduce the number of our chickens.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee. Headed to another day of field trialing at the club. Yesterday wore me out, but a b*tch I have been training for a friend won and completed her championship - now she gets to live here permanently.
Congratulations on the win! Gets to live where permanently? With you?

The dryer vent is in!!!!!! :wee

I had to hack through one 2x4 and about half of the one next to it. I will be putting a new stud immediately on the opposite side of that duct to make up for the loss of half of the second stud. That one was load-bearing. The one I cut all the way out was simply the corner needed for sheetrock installation on the exterior wall.
