Yes. I agree. But I am the loner on the subject.
Peanut butter goes with jelly.
Chocolate goes...-in my mouth usually.

I tend to think outside the box - when I run out of candy ,

how could that ever happen ?, I make my own goodies. Hershey syrup poured into a crunchy peanut butter jar

makes a great substitute. Of course if you double dip with the same huge, soup spoon you have to finish it yourself. Wouldn't want to risk giving cooties to anyone else.

When you say peanut butter and jelly, is the 'jelly' you refer to actually what we would call 'jam' over here?

As in spreadable fruit preserve?

Over here, 'jelly' is what I think you guys call 'jello.' As in, wobble wobble dessert.....

Either way, I can't imagine eating a peanut butter and jam sandwich all together. How weird! What flavour 'jelly' goes with peanut butter?

Jelly is clear jam, no seeds. Jam is more chunky, at least over here. And strawberry or raspberry is my favorite.

On a side note, I've been busy baking today, so this is what I'm bringing to work tomorrow...

Chocolate, chocolate cherry cookies (a new creation), sugar cookies, oatmeal scotches and mini banana breads.

Good gracious, excuse me, but I have to go dish out some ice cream now!

I like blackberry jam or jelly on my peanut butter sandwiches.

Jam, jelly, then throw in preserves, which usually has small chunks of fruit in it.

Diva -- that sounds luscious!

Miss Wiggles, I wanna work where you work!

I work at a pharmacy, it's kinda boring, but the people I work with are an entertaining crew. As I said, baking is my therapy, especially in the winter. When it is warm I'll be gardening and canning. And hopefully soon, I'll have chickens to add to the fun!
