We've made it up to 80° now so I best get my act together and see whose guilty of what in the coops. I know someone pooped in the water fountain. It would be totally out of character to find them all clean this time of day.

I need to start planning now on how to break the ice on watering fountains when we eventually see some temps in the teens.... We have to get a taste of the Ice Age a few times each winter.

Got most of the grass cut. Got stuck in the mud 4 times. Twice I had to get off the tractor, put it in neutral and push it out.

One of those times it took me and C to do it. I tried by myself and hurt my left buttock muscle. The one that's been hurting for months. I have my first PT session for that on 11/6.

Evening all I promised you pics when I got them finished so here y'all go; 1st pic is what I did the other day, 2nd and 3rd pics are of what I added today and last pic is the box FH is going to take to work on Monday. My back is screaming at me right now but I have to go see a doctor tomorrow afternoon so I'm not going to take meds so I'll be hurting.

I hung a gallon milk just above them and so are that is working to keep them clean. I did find some heated chicken waters at Rural King.

Now I have a toothache in my sweet tooth. I see brownies cooling in the kitchen that will be the cure.

It's not brownies. It was a chocolate sheet cake that is substantially smaller now.

Coffee is made, tea bags and Hot Cocoa packets by the pot so fix a cup or glass then enjoy the peaceful silence of the morning as you wake up.
