Everyone sleeping in today? The suns up and the coffee smells so good.

Morning. No sun here. It’s dark, cloudy, windy and generally icky out. Just finished my first cup of tea. Will have the second when I get to school.

My student and I (along with another para and 3 other students) will be going to a Halloween party in a neighboring town today. The students will enjoy it. It’s too loud and crowded for me, but they’ll enjoy it. (I never have liked an environment where I have to yell at the person next to me to be heard.)

On the bright side, it’s Friday! Tomorrow I’m going with my mom to a Christmas bazaar and canning all the tomatoes my neighbor gave me last month. Need to make room in the freezer because deer hunting starts next weekend.

I've been up most of the night hacking my lungs out. Does that count?

I asked C to pick me up some OTC cold and sinus remedy on his way home from work last night. Because of the diphenhydramine in it, there was an automatic age check on the register to buy it. The store employee told him he couldn't get because he wasn't 21.

He went to customer service to ask which drug in the medicine was triggering the age check and that employee told him but also said "you have to be 18, not 21."

He is 18. He was so irritated he went all the way back to the self check to tell that employee to "do your job right". He was just trying to help me and didn't want to leave without the meds I'd asked for.

I hope you got relief with what he did bring you. I was up and down twice and it didn't seem to matter how much of what I took for relief. At least our weather is cooling off. It's only 73° here now.

Some. I keep falling asleep on the couch and really haven't done anything yet today.
It's a very nice 60 now and we're heading up to 78.
Tomorrow the rain shows up so I really have to get some things done today.
