Gray and dreary here today...matches my mood.
But lots of sun in the 10 day, even tho I won't be out in it, eases the blues to see blue skies out my windows.

I am soooo looking forward to the sunshine.

They just said that we have not had daytime highs below 30 degrees yet this month, very rare for December. The last time this happened was 1939.

Good morning, all cool 42 here woke up opened the coop up and gave them some cracked corn. Started my loves jeep up as it was all frosted over, cleaned the babies brooder up dam they are some pooping machines LOL.
Our friends that gave us our babies are leaving for Michigan for a week or so, they messaged me asking if I would take care of a chicken who can't walk. Very nervous but said yes of course, when they come back they asked if we're up to trying incubating next?
Asked everyone in the house what's on there wish list for vegetables, so I can plan our garden out.

@Packy it's only 25* here and frosty here this morning. Getting prepared to start my Christmas cookie baking- got most of the ingredients and other essentials (bowls, cookie sheets, spoons, measuring cups and so forth) on counter JUST WAITING ON BUTTER TO THAW OUT. Today I'm planning on making Buckeyes (Choc covered Peanut Butter balls), Choc Chip cookies and maybe a batch of Peanut Butter Blossoms (Peanut Butter cookies with Hershey kisses on top) then tomorrow (12/13) planning on making the sugar cookies and Peanut Butter cookies then on 12/14 making some more Peanut Butter Blossoms and begin to deco the sugar cookies and finish whatever I need to on Fri 12/15 so FH can take them to work on Mon even though I had ORIGINALLY told his co-workers they would be getting them on 12/20.
