BYC Café

I'm starting with the no bakes
I remember making those in high school. Sometimes they set up, sometimes they didn't, and sometimes they were hard and crumbly and dry. IIRC, the instructions are to "boil 1 minute." I'm going to guess that sometimes I said it was boiling when it wasn't quite, and sometimes it was boiling before I started timing.

When I learned about making candy (soft ball, hard ball, soft crack, hard crack, and their respective temperatures), I wondered if I knew what temp to cook the no bake cookie syrupy stuff, if I'd get good results every time.

Anyone know?
I've got a cup of coffee and a glass of iced tea side by side.
Do they get along?

Wow! You are busy! I used to do a bunch of baking for Christmas. Now it’s a pan of fudge, and a batch of Krumkake. I can’t be responsible with goodies in the house, and DH doesn’t much like sweets.
