@DobieLover, I'm sorry you're hurting again. :hugs:hugs
It actually never fully went away. Just started to get worse the longer I was off the meloxicam.

I have a new PT order and this time my PCP gave me a 3 months supply of meloxicam.

My piriformis muscle is extremely tight and it is keeping constant pressure on the sciatic nerve which then causes inflammation in the nerve:

My L5 injury is probably healed. I can do my back exercises but they never transfer the pain from my butt to my lower back. That is a good indication the back is healed.

So we focused on the piriformis. The guy was absolutely nailing it (quite painfully) with the trigger point massage. I kept saying "you're right on it" and he finally said "I can feel it, it's extremely tight."

I now have a new batch of exercises to do at home trigger point massage and stretches to start to loosen up the muscle.

I've been suffering from this for over 5 months now.

Pain gets old fast.

Internet connection either doesn't work at all(or for long) or it's full force.

I know that song, for a couple decades now.
Often have to work on it.
