BYC Café

On head count tonight I found a soaking wet, bloody Fabio perched on the edge of the poop board.
His rotten son was wet too but perched on a roost and not nearly as bloody.
They obviously had a fight. The kid is going into the ward in the morning where he'll stay for at least 3 days to give his father a recover period.
If they fight again, the kid is being sent packing.
For the night, I placed Fabio on the roost and moved Astrid to one side of him and Amelia to the other to help him warm up.

I have noticed over the years that the upstarts pick a rainy day to attempt to depose the boss. Is it because he is wet and looks different? Upon introduction, monitor very closely. It's very likely the 'kid' will continue to attempt a coup.

I thought so as well. That's one of the reasons I'm waiting until I'm off and will be home to keep an eye on things.
I have no attachments to junior. I'll punt him to the curb without batting an eye over it. His dad will run this flock until his last breath and that breath will not come at the foot of any of his sons.

It's pouring out and chilly. Hot coffee is ready to go.

I only went to the grief share meeting for about 20 minutes last night then left when the video started and didn't go back in. The topic was "Questions for God". I didn't have any...

I'm looking forward to the non-secular grief support group to start in a little over a month.

Ugh! I had my MRI this morning and started coughing! The tech had to stop that section of the scan and gave me a cough drop. We got through the repeat of that part without any more coughing. It hurt like hell to cough flat on my back even with my knees supported by a pillow. I apologized to her for the F bombs I dropped after each cough attack.
