Best way ever to load a tractor!
Boy that brings back memories. My uncle had one similar to that in the early 60's. I remember one day my granddad got on it and somehow had it reared up in the air about to come back over on him. I remember my uncle hollering instructions to him trying to rectify the situation. Those lug wheels don't give one bit.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready and Astrid has slipped over to the dark side. Boy that girl is HUGE when she shifts into turkey mode!

I went out to dinner with M&S last night. We had a nice time.
Today is try to cut the grass before the rain starts day. Then I need to refill my book stash. I'm out. It's an emergency.

Here's more coffee. I really need it today. Hubby is working, and I have lots I want to get done here. But I sure would like to go back to bed for another hour. Or two.

Speaking of broodies... Widget was broody several weeks ago, and got put in broody jail for a couple days. Snapped out of it. Then, in mid-May, she was in "her" nest at lock up. I put her on the roost, closed that nest. Did that for a couple nights, and then she went to roost by herself. She'd be out in the run during the day, sometimes making her "bup-bup-bup" broody noise.

I've had to haul her out of the nest a couple more times, but she seems to be out of her broody mood.

Next spring, girl. We need to get the timing down, but next spring I want you to raise me a small batch of chicks.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee!
DS$ and SO drove in last evening. What a wonderful surprise!
They went out in the buggy to sightsee and saw a very new moose and Mom. I will see if I can upload the video in awhile.
DS$ also caught one of those fledglings and got it out of the road. Pretty funny...
We stayed up late chit-chatting by the fire in the wood stove.
Enjoy the day, Cafe!
