Sour, I believe they’re out there, but I also think that they are in some ways regulated to the point of not being able to do as much as they can.

The room with the least wet carpet feels like it’s mostly dry. I’m going to keep the fan on it until I get back from town later today. My biggest concern is the plank flooring. I’m hoping that dries OK and doesn’t get moldy. I do have about 425 sq feet left over (I should never be left unsupervised with a tape measure), so hopefully if we have to replace flooring it’s less than that.

I also had a bad bought of insomnia last night... not very pleasant, but happens from time to time for me when I have too much on my mind.

There are still good physicians out there! I have a wonderful one, but I think they are perhaps a bit easier to find up here in Canada. It's interesting how different the medical systems are run between here and the U.S.

I had the worst bout of insomnia last night. Nothing I did would make me sleepy enough to doze off. I finally drifted off at about 4:30 then woke up at 6.
The doctor's office that has screwed up getting my injection authorized or correctly submitting appeal forms, I believe the total is now 8 times going for 9, is now refusing to refill my pain medication prescription. I told the receptionist when I was there, so that they could record it in my file, that I was not taking 300 mg 3x a day that was prescribed, but instead 600 mg 3x times a day because the 300 wasn't touching the pain. So now they're refusing to fill the prescription because I'm taking more than what was prescribed. Even though it is very common practice to prescribe 900 mg 3x a day to control nerve pain.
I now have a referral to a different orthopedic surgeon. I'm calling as soon as the office opens.

Is there a place you can report them for messing up and hindering your treatment?

Here in Germany they get overwhelmed by the overabundance of bureaucratic documentation that is nowadays required.
Leaves them with hardly any time left to talk or deal with the actual patient.
And I feel that nowadays it is often the wrong kind of person that chooses to study medicine. The wrong kind of mindset.
