Oh! I would LOVE to attend this! I am having a little issue here... I keep buying plants! I have miniature perennial grasses that I'm going to plant along the sides of the front walkway. And I bought some neat colors of coral bells and some other plants to put in my large blue pots so I don't have to spend a ton on annuals every year. I need two more rose bushes... yes, NEED.

We visited two gardens today and had a wonderful time reconnecting with people we haven't seen in a long time.

And I felt almost inebriated from sniffing all the different kinds of beautiful roses! Such a treat!

Today we helped a friend clean out/rearrange his pole barn. I'd guess it's 30x40...? He has a '57 Chevy that was parked against the back wall, blocked in by stuff/junk/things he can't or won't get rid of.

When we left, the Chevy was parked facing the door, and some of the stuff was gone.

We took two transfer cases for the Falcon plow we bought from him a couple years ago, and a cool metal gas can. Those will go sit in our pole barn now.

Three weeks from today, he's "hosting" another cleaning party, and hubby will be going. (I'm going to Michigan Chickenstock instead.) The plan for that day will be to build some shelves and get some of the stuff/junk off the floor to free up more space.

At least now he can start work on restoring the Chevy. He has 3-4' of clearance all the way around it.

That large garter snake is hunting the toads and frogs. The frogs are stupid and rely on not moving at all. The toads see the garter coming for them and jump into the pond and swim to the other side. The snake then goes in and swims after them.
I will admit, I'm currently rooting for the snake. That stupid toad sings all day and night and he can't bring in a mate. There must be a reason. And he's annoying me.
