BYC Café

gal, I wish I could send you some of ours......we had tons this morning, on my drive in......complete with the light show, and some crazy winds......

Here too. In April we had at least 21 days without a drop of rain. So far in May I think we have had 3 sunny days.

Yes lots of rain here too. Mot complaining, I know how fast it can turn dry, but we rather soggy.
FIL called DH phone 5times this morning before 7

DH has learned, he keeps his phone downstairs just in case FIL pulls something like that. I couldn't sleep and so could hear the phone going off. I ignored it, mostly because I knew it would be nothing important, and it wasn't. I keep my phone upstairs, but FIL knows better then to call me before 8

. If it was important enough to risk my wrath he could call my phone, but it had better be life or death

Good morning. I should still be sleeping, but the dogs and one crabby cat said no to that! Of course, now that they have been fed and had their bathroom break, they are all back in bed, while I am wide awake.

Looks to be another beautiful day here, wish I didn't have to spend it inside.

DD and boyfriend and cat are coming this weekend. They are leaving the cat for an extended stay while they travel to parts unknown (Ireland, Spain and Two weeks in China). At least the cat likes being here, he antagonizes one of the dogs...

LOL - so your animals refuse to let you sleep and the reasonable next step is to add to their numbers.....

I have jerk cats here - two of them have discovered how to use their claws on the sliding glass door to "get my attention" - works from both sides and they are wrong-side-of-the-door cats so they use this tactic a LOT.

I have never seen potatoes planted in buckets, however i believe you can plant almost anything in those buckets! We have a couple local potato farmers here, they were working the fields last night when I was driving home from work. It's all the same family, so you have twenty somethings doing stuff, while the 70 year old grandpa drives the tractor. And this family has been growing potatoes for at least 80 years!
Can't be - everyone knows there are no potato farmers outside of Idaho

I just *love* how everyone's first assumption on hearing you are from Idaho is that you grew up on a potato farm, kind of funny given just how little of the state is actually used for potato farming......

I think the people who install the spell-checking programs feed 'em the urban dictionary - they seem to have shockingly dirty minds. I have gotten some real

text messages from people that I know would never say such things (to me, anyway).

YES - auto-complete has given me some real doozies, I have learned to proofread carefully prior to hitting send.
Can't help it.... But yeah I kinda hurt myself....

now, Phil, do you need a good spanking?
