Good morning everyone! New here and I think it'd take me 10 years to read all the posts in this thread lol.
I'm not "new" to BYC, I just made a new account because I couldn't remember my login. Plus I wanted to have a page for my farm.

Anyway, I hope everyone's having a good morning. I have a somewhat busy day at work today. After work, I plan on continuing to work on calming my growouts down. I show chickens and ducks and one of the parts of showing is making sure the birds are calm and easy to handle. This process can be easy or hard, depending on the breed and their temperment.

I handle each bird individually for about a minute each. I look over their wings, feathers, and check them for any problems like mice/lice, stubs, or injuries. It's a process, but it's worth it in the long run.

I also plan on banding them here soon. I think I got lucky this breeding season and ended up with an even number of pullets and cockerels.

Morning Cafe did bring more coffee.
We are still dry should stay in the 80's today.
I need to weed the garden bad. May water then weed

Makes a huge difference. I pulled a LOT of weeds today, and they came out easily thanks to the 1.5" of rain we got a couple days ago.

Still gobs of weeds out there. I need to do this for several days.

Hello, Cafe' - good to be home. Motel we stayed at had GREAT coffee available constantly. Ate at 4 different restaurants - their coffee was NOT great. Brewed some when I got home for a caffeine boost.
