My favorite place. Chincoteague, Va. My wishes are that eventually my ashes will be surreptitiously spread on the dunes there. Long story, but I think the Assateague Island spirit entered my soul a long time ago during a thunder storm.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

I am bringing home the antique ice cabinet today. My nephews will unload it and bring it into the house. I can only get it cleaned up and mask the hardware for the finish restoration it's going to get. The stain won't arrive until Monday.

I also found an upcycled antique buffet with hutch at our local consignment furnishings shop, Re-Fabulous. It will come home tomorrow.

Bracing for another multi day heat wave of near 90 temps.
Warmup(haha) of mid 80's today.

Only 2 eggs yesterday.
Never seen the slow down start so early,
downside of old birds I guess.

Yes, they are. Before it is off the dolly I'll get the floor protectors on it. My floor will be covered all around the piece with cardboard.
Of course pictures will be involved!

Pony penning and sale is the end of the month, but they are starting to work the ponies closer to the corral and swim point. One day there were five separate bands in the large pasture to the right after you enter Assateague.
