How dare it snow!? I'm not shoveling any the 6 inches of it. So there.

Just got back from a trip to town (25 miles one way). Needed to get some baking supplies...flour, check...sugar, check...brown sugar, check. Extra dog food, check. Halfway back home I remembered what I forgot...THE EGGS! Geez, I must think I have chickens already! :he

Sometimes, on those rare occasions that I do not have eggs and they go on the grocery list... I still forget them. I tell my husband to go rattle a chicken and see if there is anything left in there, then squeeze. But that doesn't work.

All he gets is a squawk.

Today is indeed Tuesday, but the big day is not until tomorrow.

I am up early today to catch up on all the chores that are piling up before we head off. We are going to travel 2 hours tonight to get to our destination, so that we don't have to get up early tomorrow morning. Less stress about the car breaking down at an inopportune moment etc.

The other plus is that we should arrive by 7pm tonight - just in time for a nice dinner at the motel. They have a restaurant attached so we will literally only have a few metres to walk to the restaurant!

We don't get to do it often, but gosh I love to stay at motels. This one is just lovely, beautiful rooms and the food is great. Mind you, food always is great when you don't have to cook it yourself!

Big sigh! It has been interesting but now Hubby and I are working on a greenhouse/cold frame today. A whole lot less emotional unless he gets frustrated and then we shall see what happens.

It is Spring Break for the schools and my youngest is having a birthday; getting a paintball gun and having some friends over and the two dogs are now staying with us for awhile and I just can't imagine even having enough time to complain or whine so I will continue to drink coffee and get on with it... Giddy-up-up!
