@MissWiggles here is a picture of our wiggles, but she is not that wiggly.

The explanation for the goggles is that I left my husband and the dog alone together in the kitchen with a sharpie pen.

This is hilarious! I must ask, is the teddy bear Miss Wiggle's bear? Perhaps you need to start making The List for your hubby? He seems a bit bored

My hubby has a copy of The List taped to our fridge. The idea being that no matter how many jobs he gets done in a day, I always add that plus one more to the bottom of it! Keeps him entertained forever while I attend to important things

That is my Biskit's bear. It was her crate mate after we got her to keep her from being lonely. Now he is her buddy. She totes him around with her.

The plan for today is a little light housework and not much else. Maybe watch a dvd. I have to go to work tomorrow which is unusual of itself as normally I go on Tuesdays. But being that I am now scheduled for surgery on Wednesday morning at 8am, and the hospital is 2 hours away, we are going to go away for the night on Tuesday rather than get up at 5am to get there - ergo no work on Tuesday for me.

So today is a day for taking it easy. Enjoy your Saturdays everyone!

You have been in my thoughts, and I hope it all goes easily and successfully!

How does one make coconut syrup? It sounds interesting...

Here's the recipe:

1 cup white sugar
3/4 cup buttermilk
7 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon coconut extract
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Combine white sugar, buttermilk, and butter in a saucepan over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a boil for 1 minute; reduce heat and mix coconut extract and baking soda into the syrup. Simmer until baking soda is dissolved, 1 to 2 minutes.

Haha! I almost spit my pop out when I read that! My Plott hound rolled in something dead today when we went into the property, and the lab thinks the cat litter box contains buried treasure!:barnie

My Mini Dachshund thinks the cat litter box contains buried treasure as well. :sick He's also figured out if he knocks over my boots I wear out to the coop he can find some delicious chicken poop on the bottoms of them. :sick :sick :sick

I bet it would be good over ice cream...says the lady on the diet.

I bet I could just eat it out of the pot with a spoon, and save myself those ice cream and pancake calories.
(Yeah, women think like that.)

Guilty little man,

Is he wearing an university sweater?
Which school did he go to?

I am wondering about MINI dachshund. Aren't they small to start with?
How big is a mini?
He still looks young.
do tell.
I am all about dogs and family and plants and stuff.
and food.

I was able to retire early. The Princess started generating 'The List' - that did not work well.

I've considered eating the coconut syrup out of the pot a couple times. It's just so good!! :drool

My dad's a biker so I got Henry (AKA the guilty little man) a little sweater that's seemed kind of bikerish for Christmas. (Even though he's scared to death of my dad's motorcycle. LOL)

Here's a better picture of the sweater.

I have two cats and he's much shorter than them, but about as long as them. (If that makes any sense) He's 12-13 pounds. He just turned 4 in January.

Here you can kinda see how close his legs are to the ground.

Thanks Scott. The herd thread let me be a part of their group because I have bees.
But i keep settling back to BYC.

George,
My husband has a self imposed perpetual list. Sometimes his bottom lip quivers he get so far under it.
I would never give him more to do.
If he needs to draw a mask on a puppy, he can draw a mask on a puppy.

We have to let some things slide around here. Or it would just over whelm us.
I am off to the nursery to plant seeds, pinch the heads off of plants, and stick some cuttings.
Which is kind of fun, I pulled weeds last week, so I am due some fun work.
