'Morning all,

Well, my day started well with a huge sleep in! I didn't get up until 7.30am which is unheard of in these parts! I pottered around the house for a bit making beds and doing dishes, but have enlisted hubby to do all the heavy lifting out in the chook pen this afternoon so I don't have to do it. I'm also taking a hiatus from the farm for a couple for weeks - I don't need any "If only I hadn't xxxxx" type regrets if this thing doesn't work.

Hubby will be home from work shortly and I'm fanging for some fried eggs on toast for my breakfast. Yummo - there really is nothing better. I may even lash out and whack a piece of bacon (or two) on the side. That should hold me in good stead for the rest of the day!

Not that the rest of the day holds much for me of interest. I have a full day of paperwork to plough through. Sigh. Oh well, it is raining outside today so it's not like I could go outside and play anyway

Yeah for you Krista! I went down the hill and had my horse vetted for the season. Teeth checked out a-ok + spring shots and rabies shot was last fall, so we are good to go for the trail riding adventures if only it would stop snowing. Shoes on Monday and off to the "races" hopefully Wed. I do not think the weather and mud are going to be any fun till then.

Hi everyone

Up early this morning for me (6.50am) but to be fair, I did head off to bed at 7.45pm last night! I was just knackered, and I thought "Who am I trying to impress by staying up later?" and headed off to bed early.

Today is another day of bookwork for me. I have a bit on at work at the moment, and who knows - if I keep squirrelling away some money now it may come in handy later, so I'm grabbing everything I can get my hands on. Plus, when I'm doing my paperwork, it stops hubby trying to drag me out to the farm to help, which I'm not keen on doing at the moment anyway.

Margie, yay for your little horse! I'm glad it came through with a glowing health report. Rabies shot, hey? We don't have rabies out here, but I've seen some scary movies with dogs who had it.

So, what's everyone up to for your weekends? As I said, I'm just doing paperwork, but I'm sure I'll find time for something nice as well. I might take myself out to lunch perhaps.
