It's an egg collecting device for the evil broody. I've had one hen that I send my husband in for the egg. He goes in with leather gloves.

I have to use leather gloves to feed one of the male rabbits when DH is gone. No farm/home should be without at least one pair!

Lol I may have to try the leather gloves for feeding the girls. One of my Marans has just gotten insanely rough and grabby with treats in hand...

I don't like being bit. My aversion oozes over to me not liking the animals that bite... and then it is my husband's job or the animal goes.
We have a pet turtle that is going to out live us...but who will feed it when we are gone?

Did you ever watch the TV series for Buffy the vampire slayer? There was a character on there, an "ex vengeance demon" who was terrified of bunnies lol
