Just my plumeria. This year is its first flowering and I caught that one when it fell off, just thought it looked cool against the stones. I ended up buying it as a "wedding present" (my Oma sent us some cash and said you have to buy something for yourself! So part of it went towards immigration expenses and I got the plumeria with a bit of it too)

Pic was taken a few days ago...she doesn't look very comfy does she lol. My poor hard done by mutt.

Is there anyone on this planet more gullible than me!? and before you all say No bear with me....I have had a cuk day...

I went to collect my sebright hens today and the lady said 'H'i we've been waiting for you', so I gave the carrier over and they went to fetch. I just want to point out that I had to pay beforehand to secure them, anyway they were brought thru and guess what one hen ONE ROO, She tried to tell me that it was a fully grown hen. and if I have learnt anything from BYC it's the ability to tell a hen from a bloody great Roo.

Anyway after arguing, which is a waste of life, she refused to take the Roo back so what the hell I took both. Emergency phoning my son to make the new run bigger, he said ' how bigger' - 'lots'. So he had to go off and get more fencing and do a rush job,

Get home and DH is furious with me, not only did I spend money (too much) for these lovely birds, he simply refuses to help me make a separate run and his lunch was late.

I let them out and Henry who is the sweetest Roo on the planet goes ballistic and pecks at the new Roo,through the fencing, ugly situation, blood everywhere, and my daughter who was stood up (another story, more tears and drama)) comes to help. I tell my son to make the fencing so that Henry and Satan, (because that is a one hellva of a Roo) further apart they can not get to each other.

So wash Henrys wounds and Satans' with warm water and betadine and let everyone chill for a bit. Meanwhile Raptor is now asserting his 'rooness' with Molly and she is not having any, hence there is trauma in the camp.

Go back an hour later and 'Contessa' is running free, somehow she got out and is so happy and all the others chooks seem to like her, no pecking order, just Henry doing sidesway shuffle, obviously knows a smart chick when he sees one.

So now being winter I can't let them stay outside and cannot let them in Henrys' house, so under the dire circumstances they are in my guest room.

Hi all! Finally caught up on all the posts. Whoop Whoop I'm sorry for your plight, but your post made me laugh! I don't have any advice for you though.

As far as staying home with your children...if more people did that we would have less problems in this world. I never regretted it for one minute and I have two beautiful children to show for it.

House update: after paying our extortion, I mean permit fee, of nearly one thousand dollars...who knew porches counted as livable area...I have a well! 60 feet down and that's all I know at this point.

@3goodeggs she looks tinnier than she is, just underfed I think - Henry is fat, well fed - they are not my best pictures will get more tmrw

I think you are right been done again - she said he was 'lemon' but he is a bit copperish (if that is a word). Just checked on them and they are sleeping comfy in their nest so round two in the morning.- the babies have got to be gorgeous surely they are such stunning birds.
