I WILL THROW OUT
90 MPH AS A GUESS FOR THE PEAK SPEEDS...BUT WE COULD SEE 100 MPH
AGAIN IN THE PRIME FOOTHILLS SPOTS.
I am so glad I moved the hay yesterday! Notice the word AGAIN....
Not complaining, just shaking my head in amazement...

Ick that is a lot of wind. We get wind here, constant, but rarely does it reach above 50.
I am kid free for the day! Going shopping, so no housework done, but hubby is thinking Red Lobster and maybe a movie!

Morning! Eggie, try not to loose it in the paint store. Their gonna think your spending too much time in there, especially if your arms don't work!!!!!
If you don't check back in today, we'll call the local PD for you to find you......

You will not believe this.
I can't believe this.
We spend four hours going through the paint chips at Lowes.
Do you know how many paint chips there are?
We settle on Sherwinn Williams. get four practice quarts so I can look at them on the wall for a week...We finally decide...

On the way to the paint store... going the direction we just don't go, right?
I mean, we leave our drive way, head east.
Today I head west- turn the corner.. Put on the breaks, back up pull into the drive way of the house opposiste our west neighbor... get out of the car with pain chip in hand...
Guess what color their house is? GUESS!! two houses away. It looks better on my house. But it won't NOW.

So I gather up different chips and I walked around the neighborhood holding them to their houses.
I am surprised the police weren't called.
I am going to sit here and pout for a bit.

Well... you see, I have an incredibly difficult mother to please, and I spent my life trying to do just that...
I wore what she wanted me to wear, I did what she wanted me to do, and I painted my house what she liked. 25 years ago.
It was a dark chocolate brown with barn red trim.
It was okay.

But I have since given up trying to please someone who really does not care...

I think we have even swung the opposite way. I'd paint it purple if it annoyed her, but she'd never see and I really do like my neighbors.. so..

it is time for a change.
We were going to keep it in a saddle leather -terra cotta range but we are headed in a totally different direction now.

It was a key lime green when we moved in and
that lasted less than a week. Husband could not stand it.

I wore what she wanted me to wear, I did what she wanted me to do, and I painted my house what she liked. 25 years ago.

Hey! I was thinking about that just this morning.
Contrary to my age, I have not gone grey yet... though my bladder is old apparently-

ANYWAY,,,, So I was thinking when I do go grey I will just go blonde.
Then I thought, 'NO! I will go blue." but when I was a kid old ladies would put blueing in their hair, so I can't go that direction when I am old.
I can't go pink because I can't stand pink.
Then I thought green, I'll go green.... So Meanwhile, I am driving to the post office and I start laughing... because all I could think was:

Oh dear, there should've been a disclosure on that! Clowns scare me...no really, they do! I think I got royally traumatized by reading Stephen Kings "It" when I was a teenager. Now I can't even handle friendly clowns.
Anyway, I have one of those mother's too. I went for purple hair when I was 16 because of it! I got marched off to the hair dresser and then sent to boarding school! LOL
