Now my brain is ticking.
I bet I could use quite a bit of your design.

Where did you buy the plastic wrap from?
greenhouse megastore. I also bought the pvc plastic clips. It holds the plastic to the pipe. I think it comes in 24" lengths, and you cut it to suit.

And it is holding up in the sun?

I think a lot of the problem with mine was seams and it held with sewn on ties

I also wonder if the PVC doesn't get as hot as the metal frame I have. ?

it's held up well, for a year.

while it's noticeably warmer in the greenhouse, I haven't noticed any scalding hot temps.

Wow I clocked mine at 122 deg F one day when it was still covered. we put a mister system up along the sides for really hot summer days. some of the cheep seedling pots were warping like tupper ware in the dish washer.

I didn't use it much in the summer except for storage but my garden has suffered without it for protection in the winter.

I use the portion at the peak for venting.

our greenhouse, is strictly for early seeding, and winter growing. during the summer months, it doesn't get used.

eta: since the greenhouse, I've also built 2 4'x8'x18" tall cedar planting boxes. blueberry try, that failed miserably.

I am going to build a hoop to cover them and try growing some stuff early in there. probably peppers, since they don't tend to get overly large. then alternate with greenbeans to help the soil.

if you have all the material ready, it's a weekend or two job, even if only mildly handy.

eta: all of the screws used, were 100% non gmo!!
