SISTER!!!

I had help from DH, but I had to do the roof on our new chicken pen. He says its because I'm light, and he's heavy, but I think that's a good excuse to get me to do it every time.

So if that counts, there's at least 3 of us!

If standing at the top of the ladder handing me stuff as needed as well as going after the 'I forgots' add my DW to that list (if in her 60's isn't too old)

I'm not sure if being the "go-fer" quite gets the job done - even my techie son has done that.

I'm having to strip off the plywood and shingles that I put up there almost 20 years ago, replace some of the rafters, then attach the stringers and roofing - hoisting the roofing up there by myself. Bless him - Hubs still thinks he's indestructible, and most of the time, it doesn't occur to him that I might not be.

Well then howdy neighbor....you guys get much snow there with this last storm ( wasn't really a storm)....??

Not much of a storm, about 1 & 1/2 inches. Mostly heavy wet stuff. My dad lives 20 miles south of me, they just got a dusting.:D

Bunny- I have been on the garage roof, helping DH shingle it. I've been on scaffolding staining Windows and painting. I've helped my Dad with the wiring and hung a bunch of the light fixtures in this house. I don't do plumbing though. I also don't mow lawns and I will NOT learn how to use the plow on the truck.

Scott, my dogs never work too hard! Here are a couple pictures from our master bath. It is extra large 13'x13' or there abouts. The walk in shower has two rain shower heads and it echoes! It also has a handheld for cleaning and giving the dogs a bath. So far none of them will go in there when the water is running!

We survived the "quick" trip to Denver for weigh-ins! Woo Hoo! Tomorrow is another day, another trip, but at least we are getting a room there overnight.
DS# is homesteading while we are gone to town.

Funny story, not related to the drive..... thank goodness it was not my day to feed the horses!
Kitty might have tried paybacks for my previous antics with it.

Hey guy and gals,

I wasn’t expecting to be run over by a bobcat this morning when
I went to feed. It was sleeping on the top of the hay bales when
I opened the door and stood his ground, so I went to get a camera
in my truck and came back and he was out of sight. Put the camera
away and went back to get hay. Apparently he was hiding under the
trough in the back corner and when I started going for the nice bale over
there, he exploded from out from under me and out the door. I think
I still have a pretty good vertical leap as it scared the Be-Jesus out of me.
He was staying dry and waiting for bunnies to come feed on the hay is my opinion.

Cool to be that close to such a beautiful creature.

Anyone that can handle a hand tool with competence gets my respect.
