One thing that really doesn't bear too much thinking about is that one of my hobbies is crocheting . . . . which could be described as creating one very large, intricately ordered tangle . . . . .

Morning! My "critter" chores took longer, but it is all good. DS# is well fed and doing a good job hanging out. It is raining here and I think some snow is in store for tonight, a few inches anyway. DH is reorganizing the firewood stack, getting ready for next year and for splitting the new stuff this summer. It is good to be home, getting caught back up on everything that got shoved aside, like lock-down for example..... , hatching is sometime this week- Tues +/_. Seems like mine always run a day or two late. Alright, have a good one and all sorta kinda fun out there!

Oh my, yes -- we got hit with nasty cold the last two days and this morning my co-worker came to work with a car covered in snow (she lives about half an hour in the opposite direction as I do) -- and we got a good, hard freeze last night.  SOOO over winter!
Sounds like fun, glad you got to enjoy some family time.

We are getting pounded with snow.... Well over a couple of feet now this week... With the more days of snow in the forecast..... Our Lakes are still frozen
Sooooooo over it more.....:/

M & M, hope your boy is doing well.  Mid twenties here again this morning.  Peach trees were in full bloom last week as a result of early warm weather.  Looks like no peaches this year.  Hey, at least the wind has finally stopped blowing.  Everyone have a good Sunday.  :caf

I gave up on mine years ago.... I get s couple of cherries a year if I'm lucky..... I got s couple of apricots before then a hard winter killed the tree......I have a coil gaint Sequoia
Tree that was growing great.... It got winter damage this year....:fl... Hopefully not too much.

We are sisters in the tangled world.

It is a bizarre compulsion for me.

I used to be real good.... But now my fingers and my eyes don't work as well..... I cut my line now.

My wife seriously needs a hobby.... She picked up some yarn crocheting needles the other day..... But hasn't picked them up yet...... She's fighting some demons right now.. :(

Crochet is great, I have always wanted to try knitting, someday

My wife too...

I think that is how my OCD started. Dad would get a backlash hand it to my mom, she would get mad. I would pick it up and hope to make them both happy by handling the problem for them.
What an untangled web we weave when we practice to keeping the peace.
Keeping ourselves forever trapped in the middle of a mess?

I learned to knit several years ago, but I have tension problems that I have never managed to resolve. My knit stitches are always a different size from my purl stitches - if the pattern is busy enough, it doesn't show, but it's aggravating on simple stuff.

I only did the middle until I realized that no one cared. They were in love with their wars and I made no difference in their lives.
Now I only deal with my own backlashes.
