Good morning all! I haven't posted here in a while, I've been very busy.

OFW, I am late reading this, so I hope that you and the party went over well!
It's good to see that you are just a little bit on the normal side like we are.
Like people, like a clean house/barn/shed/coop/yard/shop, just seem to run out of time for much cleaning, life gets in the way alot.

Party was great. Unfortunately my cousin could not show up. It was too bad, but a little bit of a relief too. Her boy is deathly allergic to peanuts and whenever he visits I am always worried I am going to kill that poor boy. So I do not just clean do everything is nice, I clean like I am trying to hide a body But yes i am just as abnormal as everyone here
But the party went well. Everyone has plenty of food. Thing 2 was a little overwhelmed but snuggled with all her Aunt's and Grandma's, so they were happy.

Thanks Scott! No waterwings for the chickens.....yet! Our yard is pretty flooded though! Have a good Sunday!

Mornin' all! Do I smell COFFEE?

Maybe rather than water wings, the chickens need stilts?


A few days ago, my birds were clearly enjoying the fact that I had built their coop on stilts. It was raining; I was getting wet, the ducks were getting wet (not that they mind), the free-ranging roosters were getting wet, and the birds confined to the coop and run were all cozy and dry under the coop . . . . which is why I built it like that in the first place.

Coffee would be a welcome smell right now - I'm enjoying the lovely odors of plumbing issues

Thankfully DH is on the job so my "job" is to "sit and relax and let me take care of this" - that I can do.
Love that picture, my mom is a flamingo nut so I had to share that with her.

Happy birthday to 'thing 2'. My favorite part of parties is when everyone says goodbye and goes home. Is that bad?
