BYC Café

Good morning folks! I'm Sara from Montana! I like tea, nearly any kind. I even grow mint and chamomile in my herb garden! Sometimes I just gotta do English breakfast with cream and a little honey. I raise Birchen Marans and Cream Legbars, plus some random turkeys, a few rabbits, a dog, a cat, 3 kids, and an overwhelmed husband. I've pretty much lived here since I was 7.

Welcome

Hi, Sara, welcome to the Café. Would you like a coffee ?

Howdy Sara! Just rolled in from watering the garden, but it is a nice workout because we have to go through a pasture and down a hill and of course, back up..... One of my gardening friends has COPD and so we stop and breath a few times coming back up. We even put in resting benches at a couple of points when we did the stairway on the hill.
My DS# is up in MT doing ranch work somewhere near the Crow Reservation. He loves it up there!

DS@ is doing this on the Beaver Creek Fire.....
Firefighters remain vigilant defending structures as the fire advances.
Today engine crews will continue to prepare buildings for possible fire growth and defend structures as the fire advances. Contingency lines are being built in locations with the highest probability of success. Most of the fire necessitates indirect attack due to the high component of standing beetle killed trees.
Firefighters have air tankers (airplanes) and helicopters available to slow advancing fire growth and cool hot spots as the day progresses.
