It's the same wherever we have lived, people dropping off 'pets' when they see horses.Good morning, iced coffee anyone? Off to work today, DH has today and tomorrow off, so at least "the boys" won't be alone today. The plott hound is taking Miss Wiggles death pretty hard...
FiveLittleHens, so sorry about your babies. I absolutely hate irresponsible pet owners. If you don't want your dog, bring it to the local shelter. People drop their dogs off up here too. They seem to think that "some nice farmer" will take them in and feed them. What happens is they form packs, terrorize farm animals, looking for food and eventually meet a less than pleasant end.
The same people that dump their trash off in the ditch, 2 miles from the dump site.I don't understand why these people don't just drop them off at their local rescue centre.
But both will learn real fast what works and what will get you quickly planning a landing while your in mid-air.Morning! I hope you all have a wonderful day.
It was not my decision to make about the TW and yes, I was thinking she would be good for my kiddo until Woody graduates from college, so to speak. " Green on green makes black and blue!"
We will come up with another plan, but I think Woody will settle in pretty quickly. He has a "nice eye."
It rained here yesterday and I believe more is coming in. We are starting out at 54 degrees(F) this AM so the coffee is wonderful. Thanks!
My parents are breaking a new 2 year old paint named Rooster. Mom miscalculated when hopping on the first time and when he crowhopped to the side she went all the way over, landing on her shoulder. She had intended to roll when landing, but she realized that she isn't as young as she once was. Poor mom is pretty black and blue! Guess Rooster is getting more lunge line work for now.
