Hey sorry I am around, just not posting. Between swimming lessons (ending today) birthday parties, and a nasty cold, just not talkative. But I check in.
I am sure I will be around more soon

Was hoping it was just summer busyness with the kids. Nice to "see" you and sorry about the cold!

OrganicFarmWife I know what you mean about being busy. It seems my life has become a taxi driving to basketball, baseball, football practices, the Boys and Girls club, VBS, church, etc. I am hardly home before I off going again. When you decide to be parents you don't have any idea the amount of going you will do, lol. I have had a cold or allergies, whichever it was pretty nasty. Now, I have a lingering sinus infection and bronchitis, UGH!

Was a good weather morning here, 77* at 0645 and not forecast to be anywhere near 100* for a few days.

Just got back from the Warren Co fair. 15 minutes after we started for home the skies opened up - deluge. I had my wineberry/peach crumb pie and brought home a piece of wineberry/peach/blueberry crumb for later.

Princess settled on lemon meringue. This year there was a big drop off in their farm animal numbers. Not a good trend. Chcikens were generally poor quality, but there was a White Crested Black Polish cockerel that I would have gladly taken home.

I don't think county fairs start up until Sept. here. I know the kids have been in school for awhile.
