BYC Café

It's amazing how fast storms move in in the mountains, one second the cloud wad just moving in, the next it's POURING and SCARY AF storm

Hoping it moves through just as fast as it came in and the show can go on lol made it inside at least, been in for a few mins now

Grandson's team got creamed.    They were playing up against older kids, and a year sure made a difference.  Most of those 15 year olds were bigger than me, but then again much of the world is bigger than me.  :idunno

Turned the Olympics on and fired up the Keurig.  Hearing that cheerful, perking sound I suddenly realized that I never put a cup to catch the amber brew.  :barnie

Sorry they lost, and sorry about your coffee. But I think anyone who drinks coffee has done it a time or twelve, so don't feel too bad.

My 13 year old step-son is so proud of being taller than me. I told him its not than impressive, everyone else is too :D

:gig. I can laugh because I've done that before, but it was a 4 cup coffee pot and I set the carafe next to the coffee maker instead of in it. What a mess!

X2

I've even poured new water in, and put new grounds in, but not removed the leftover coffee and overflowed it!

Yes, I agree that everybody that makes coffee regularly has goofed in all of the ways already posted, may I add not using the 'on' button and yelling very bad words at the coffee pot for not working, then DW reaches out and touches the 'on' button and the little light comes on.

I hope that everybody has a nice day!

Mom always said that swearing at or talking to inanimate objects was an indication of insanity. I heard her tell Dad that quite frequently. She loved the telling the story about a wrench slipping and barking his knuckles while working on a tractor. He swore and threw the wrench into a hay field - and then spent the rest of the day looking for the wrench. He would just sit there with a silly/sheepish look on his face and let her have her fun. Memories.
