I didn't get to watch much of the game, the rain delay did me in, it looked like it would be a long one, so I gave up. Too exhausted. Work has been killer lately. But I was glad to hear the Cubbies won. :yiipchick

I thought so too but ended up staying up and the delay was only maybe 17 minutes

there! Hadn't stopped by the cafe in a bit, thought I'd better pop my head in.

It's really warm here today, 60 at around 10, 10:30 and now I think it's like almost 70 or mid 60s. It's been mid 50s and sometimes 40s and last night was very cold so this feels really hot. But I guess it's good cause it went straight from nice fall to cold lol

It was warm here yesterday too -- kind of a bummer for me because I love cool fall weather and yesterday did not feel like November at all, lol.

That sign would be perfect on the kitchen wall opposite the refrigerator

I only watched part of the game, maybe the last half, but it was definitely amazing!

LOL, more than what I saw -- I saw about 30-45 seconds, but apparently *the* 30-45 seconds of the game because it was the big homerun. I am so not a sports person, but had clicked over to let DH see the score at just the right time.

I still get surprised by how many early morning grade school aged, drama queens show up looking just like my sweet, lovable Grandbabies.

Sometimes it looks like a 3 ring circus in this house, and there is only 3 of them. How do Mom's/Dad's that have even more little ones get it done?

LOL - not the best way to start the day, is it? It's a good thing they are so cute, it's the only thing that keeps them alive sometimes --- it helps to sneak in and take a peak at them while they are sleeping now, reminds you of how much you really love them.

Perhaps the lion tamer bit with a whip and a chair? ("Back!" *snap* "Back!" *snap* "back you savage thing!" *snap, snap*)

Such a great visual there -- and not too far from the truth on some days.

'Young ladies in training' - I had problems dealing with only one of them. During that time period she hated me, and frankly I did not like her very much. We are past all of that and thankfully she is once again my best buddy, but ---------------------------- Have another coffee, Scott.

"I will always love you, but I don't like you right now" --- how many times I have felt that way while adventuring through raising my two. I'm pretty sure the times when they hate you is when you know you are doing your job well.

At a job fair thing and I'm hiding lol

Talked to one cause my professor qent with me but then he left and i was so awkward and barely talked/said the wrong the thing then went in the other room and almost cried for a minute then have been hiding lol

Now I just left in the middle of talking to someone

but she was mostly talking to my friend anyway&i wasnt interested but still, probably rude

But now I've been hiding talking to my friend for like 10 minutes since hahah

I agree lol felt like summer, I was hot haha

And LOL yeah, it was a great game. I loved when Cleveland got a home run, making it 6-4, and then just a few minutes later got a double home run to tie the game all in the 8th or 9th inning, I thought they would lose. They did but still good moral for them. It was just a great game

Thanks guys, it's 11-1 and it's 12:20 now so it might be almost iver, I don't know. But I just listened to an interesting conversation in this room lol

And even if it's it over a bunch of people from my class/the other classes have already left because they had other classes or just wanted to. Our class is normally 10:30 to 11:45 so some have noon classes I think. But yeah. I know I probably should go out there but I was already nervous and now that I ****ed up two meetings I'm just that much more nervous and it's like a cycle :/

btw president is president of the school and these kids go here.... at least I'm not THAT kid
