Working with the hay and other farm chores will build nice muscle and serious staying power.

Margie, sounds like you and I have the same kinda weather today - other than the wind, of course. We're not quite as breezy as you are. Going down around 20 tonight, then by Saturday we'll be bouncing back up with highs around 70; just in time for it to rain some more. *sigh*

Morning All, coffee going yet. Apologise's yet again for giving you double vision. There is a Gemini moon at the moment, which is my only excuse for double posting again.

This is the only IBIS (Hadeda) in Africa,who is frightened of heights. She follows me around from room to room tapping on the windows for attention and food. Her mum pushed her out the nest and she just managed to land on me. Ever since she has never left me alone. In the animal spirit world she basically conveys protective elements against life's storms, personal or otherwise. She heralds a new richness and fertility coming my way. (Jeez I hope she doesn't mean kids),(bit late for that anyway). Anyway I believe in this stuff,so my life is going to pick up but it is all about timing.

Her name is 'Yarp" and picture of her soaked, as it rained last night having breakfast....




Well off to do morning chores, feeding cleaning , well you guys know all the usual.

Scott, not 8 days for me. Mine is this weekend, since hubby is scheduled for hernia repair next Wed, we'll be doing stuff early, in case he's still in the hospital Christmas weekend.

Sour, bundle up in layers and try to stay warm, my friend. I like winter less and less every year.

The early Christmas is a good idea, considering this a repair of an repair.
I do hope that he will be done with it this time around, and heal fast.

Morning! We get that kind of weather a lot, the four letter word that shall not be named! WV, hoping you and your DH's present is that all goes well and you can be done with the hospital scene.

I could use some more hot coffee before the day starts really getting snowy, apparently, 8 inches or so predicted. Once again, the weather forecast is merely a suggestion and reality is what I stick my head into on the other side of the door. DS$ is off to take the last final of the year and then I will get him early from school and go celebrate at a favorite Nepalese food place that DH won't go to because it upsets his stomach and he doesn't like curry, so we look for excuses to eat there without him. The saag and chicken curry are fantastic!
On another note, my DS@ is off to fight a fire up by Fort Collins, thanks to this w!@#. I guess his present is more moola.
