Our last dog lived to 13 and we got him at 18 months. The dog before him who I barely remember lived to 14. Bailey the 13 year old was a yellow Lab though I always thought he may have been mixed but barely. Higgins was a Golden Retriever. He was mom's dog, bought from a pet store when she was living alone in Florida. The current dog, Gator, is turning 5 years old in March. I can't believe he is 5 already. He is much bigger than the other two dogs being a Black Lab/Great Pyrenees mix and has bad hips and an old leg injury so I fear he won't last as long as the other dogs

But one can hope. He is at least on much better food than any of the others (we had Bailey on some of the worst of the worst lol poor guy) so maybe that should help.

But I think Pyrs are only 11 to 12 years so I guess we'll see

Count me in! Morning! Today we are heading out to Greeley and I am so glad the storm will be diagonal across the state or we would not be going. Those plain's blizzards are really nasty and I bet a lot of cows will be popping out their babies cause that is just how they like to roll. So glad I don't have that to deal with......

I actually decided to work today, so stopped by for a coffee refill. Figured it's raining, so why not work inside. I can take a day off when it's sunny outside, instead.
