My best hopes for your DS$$$$$ to heal straight without any problems.

Yes, its a break over barrel, just a single shot, but man is it accurate.... and fast! Crossman Fire NP (nitro piston)

http://www.crosman.com/fire-np

Their website shows $149, but he found it around Christmas time for around $99, I think. They have other models with the piston now too.

And just how many WV girls do you know??

Morning! Foggy and freezing drizzle here and I had a huge list of things to accomplish today but my plans got hijacked yet again. We are not going to WY as DS$ broke his arm in practice last night and we had a late night at the ER getting it splinted and with the weather, well, it made the wait a bit longer because everyone was biting the dust with car wrecks and just slipping on the ice. I will say though if you walk into the ER around here and actually have insurance, they do their best to get you taken care of quickly. It was a quarter of the time that I imagined it would be, thank goodness, and now at 8AM I get to call our old orthopedic doc that we haven't seen since we stopped racing. DS$$$$$ is bummed, to say the least, but these things happen, especially at his age when they are growing and forget where they are in space. I am just hoping he will not need surgery and all of that.
It is going to be a long day on a short night's sleep so keep the pot hot please.

@Mtn Margie That does not sound like fun, hopefully recovery goes well

And it was actually a beautiful day today at -3 (26F). And though it's still sunny now, the wind has come up which makes it feel like -15!

Oh, and I have to share my parenting win this morning.

So it was a beautiful day, cold and snowy but sunny, I get my little toddler all ready to go outside, we head out with the dog. They take off for the chicken coop of course, we hang around for a little bit, then the little one decides to go into the run to get closer to the chickens,
all is good...then I notice...his feet look...not quite right.......he has no boots on!!

Um, ya, so my one and half year old was out in the snow in his socks. Good times. Luckily we weren't out for much more then five minutes. And his feet were cold but a quick change of socks (and boots!), and all was good. Geesh, that's a good one though

Dont beat yourself up. Stuff happens. Gave me a good chuckle this morning. If if makes you feel any better one day a few months ago my DH called me from work laughing hysterically because he looked down under his desk and noticed he had on one tan shoe and one black and he's a grown man. He had to sneak out at lunch and buy a matching pair
