Phil, hope you have a good Sunday as well. No going out for us tonight, we're just not into the whole football thing. DH has been working all hours trying to wrap up some projects at the golf course before his foot surgery on Tuesday. We're going to have a quiet evening at home with the 3 wild kittens we call pets, lol.

Time for coffee!!!

How are you going to have a 'quiet' time with 3 wild kittens?

Did you remember to turn on the coffee pot and tea water?
I have forgot to do that before, grounds added, water poured and no 'on' light.
Meanwhile I'm waiting for the sounds of the coffee maker when it's done.

Hey NFC, the WV bacon cheese ball didn't have a link? Guess I'll have to go look that one up!

I did some coop work yesterday. Switched some birds around, pen swapping. Haven't seen a hawk in weeks, so I let one pen out to play. Of course it didn't take long to see a big shadow from something flying overhead. Never got a good look. But rushed the babies back to the safety of their pens. :/

Sold 7 of my week-old chicks yesterday, selling some hatching eggs today, and taking a cockerel to a friend. Hope to watch a little of the Superbowl later!

Morning! We rarely do the Superbowl thing, not having TV and not really into footy-football.... It depends if the neighbor wants company.
The swelling is retreating in the DS$'s arm for sure. He is happy about that and starting to get cooped up so we are off to do something today, anything really that will take the edge off.
Maybe a movie? Shopping for new wrestling shoes? I would say hiking but not with all of the ice around. I am sure we will figure it out.

Good morning all! Putting the finishing touches on the inside of the coop today so the girls can finally move in! Woot. Then it's just paint the outside and I be done with the new build. Can't wait. Pics will be uploaded soon.

See Scott, here's the problem with making coffee early in the morning...



DH has been working on several projects inside since the course closed mid-October. In the bar he reconfigured the bar, installed some tile, some new trim, built a new area behind the bar for displaying the liquor and installed a splash sink. In the pro shop, he fixed up the 2 counters and pulled out some crappy looking shelving. In the deli area he built a new counter.

He's about done with all the projects but the clean up from all those is major. I think he's waiting for me to get back on the payroll the end of March to do the clean up
