yes!Question. If I move all of them at the same time can I add new ones at the same time? New place new pecking order to be established? I found someone who is dispersing their flock and has buckeye hens for only $5 each. I'll just need to find a roo and I'll be all set.
I find that messing up the environment when adding new ones makes everything MUCH easier.
If these are new to you birds though... quarantine them first! And maybe dust/spray/treat for all parasites before putting them in the new coop.
If there are super low on the pecking border birds...or a big size difference, I find 2 sets of water and feed is best for the first couple of weeks.
