BYC Café

Will do!

Took a family vote after the hurricane hit on whether or not we should cancel. Decided the people down there, where we have had so much fun for years, needed our tourist dollars.

Should be interesting seeing the damage and how the clean up is going. Maybe we can find a way to help a bit while we are there. :)

Good morning Cafe'. All checked in for our flight tomorrow to the Keys.

Need to do a few hours work and then pack, scrub the chicken waterers and top off the food. Neighbor will be over every other day to check on them.

Oh and another doctor appt today! :sick

Oh, go to Mallory square for me and see if the guy is still there doing 'stupid egg tricks'. Also the lady selling electric brownies. She's a great baker. :p

Good luck with the doctor, and have a great trip.

Sun today after a couple of days of rain. Tahoe got 2 feet of snow!

Our rain has turned to snow, should have 1-3" by night. Up in the mountains they're expecting 6-10". Anyone up for a ski trip?

Ski season will likely be going here for Thanks giving. It looks like it will be a good year for them

Oooo I haven't been skiing since the 90s. I miss it. Used to go 3-4 times a week.
I guess my skis and boots are considered pretty old school nowadays.

I remember going to Le Massif in Quebec. I could ski black diamonds as long as there weren't moguls. I did a blue trail that day and it took 3 hours to get down!! Only 2 runs that day but it was wonderful.

Heh... I did a black diamond at Mont Tremblant in Quebec. I hit a mogul patch. Took my skis off and walked down.
